Due an expansion of our highly regarded lymphoedema service, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team as a lymphoedema keyworker. Working predominantly at our Yeovil site, the role involves some cross site working. Our team provides patient-focused care to patients with lymphoedema throughout Somerset, regardless of cause. This includes patients with primary or secondary lymphoedema as well as those with advanced disease. We also work closely with the breast care department to monitor patients at risk of developing lymphoedema. We provide a wide range of services including exercise groups. The successful applicant will be providing patient-focused care to patients with mild to moderate chronic oedema in Somerset and full training will be provided. Applicants should have first level registration or professional qualification, with demonstrable relevant post-registration experience. Community or outpatient experience is desirable but not essential, along with experience in Doppler assessment, compression hosiery and below knee short stretch bandaging.
